NEXORADE - 2018
Gridshell is a new structure that is light, flexible, economic, easy to construction and has high strength, all of these elements point to a word “less”, which we can understand it as a high efficient form, however, it is not enough. The objective of this project was to design and build a dome with 6 meters in diameter and through research and testing manage to establish the most rational and appropriate design option based on the icosahedron grid reciprocal structure.
